Translation:

As part of our foundation’s ongoing mission to promote Chinese brush/ink culture and continue the thousand year old calligraphy art form, we’ve invited master calligrapher Mr. Lü Zhongyang to hold a grand exhibition, displaying more than a hundred of his personal works in our foundation’s first floor auditorium.

Mr. Lü has been studying calligraphy in earnest since childhood, and was previously a member of the Zhejiang Province Calligraphers Association as well as the vice-chairman of the Huzhou Calligraphers Association. For this exhibition, Mr. Lü has chosen works of various calligraphic styles, including lesser seal script, clerical script, regular script and semi-cursive script. It will be a magnificent feast for the eyes! As this event will coincide with Mr. Lü’s 89th birthday, we are extremely lucky and honored to host this event with him. We respectfully invite you all to join us on this splendid occasion.
