September 2012 Update

Purpose of Visit: Project Progress Inspection

Grades: K1-K3

As of our visit today, the school’s construction has been continuously delayed due to errors in geological surveying and ongoing rains. The projected October 30th completion date is very unlikely to be met. Even if construction can be completed this year, students won’t be able to be enrolled until spring of next year. The new school will be two stories high, with an area of 5,020 square meters. It will be a huge improvement compared to the temporary classrooms that are currently being used in Yongkang Town.
